community homE
Redefining the group home experience.
Intercept Health offers a Therapeutic Group Home for boys, ages 13-17. Our home is located in Henrico County and is licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services offering a safe place for adolescents in need of a structured therapeutic environment due to behavioral, emotional or developmental needs.
CLINICAL INTERVENTIONS
Our Clinical Managers build an emotional and behavioral foundation using best practice programming when providing the individual, psychotherapy groups and family therapy and case coordination for our youth. They are
responsible for leading the treatment team, coordinating aftercare transition services, identifying family supports and natural
resources.
THERAPEUTIC MILIEU
Our home provides a therapeutic milieu with opportunities for our youth to figure out what is important to them, gain independent living skills and learn to display prosocial actions and behaviors while in a safe, nurturing environment.
